The challenge of the Beach Rooms was two fold, one an engineering design to maintain the beach in front, the design of the rooms were based on entering a hotel room and being within the sitting area capturing the spectacular view of the bays beyond with the bed to one side in an adjacent alcove, these became incredibly successful. The Beach Restaurant was to be based on a unique modular design that could be extended in the future, which consequently has more than doubled in size. The main objectives of both designs were to blend naturally into the landscape, thus maintaining the exclusivity of the beach.
